Pajarito Environmental Education Center

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) operates out of the Los Alamos Nature Center, a showpiece building perched atop a canyon edge steps from downtown Los Alamos. The Nature Center features exciting, interactive exhibits that get kids and adults thinking and having fun while learning about nature in northern New Mexico.

Get out on the trails: download the Los Alamos Trails app or join us for a hike or outing. Get closer to wildlife: visit our resident critters or watch some wild ones from our observation room. Expand your knowledge: attend one of our talks or classes, or participate in a school program. Zoom through the galaxy: take in a planetarium show in our state of the art facility.
